چکیده
In aviation, using external stores under the wings is a common method of carrying payload or fuel. some cases, can be rigidly attached to wing. However, must often ejected during flight for aircraft, such as military type, which carry drop tanks and missiles. This may cause wing respond dynamically with increasing amplitudes, due impulsive load ejection change total mass. especially critical in aircraft highly flexible wings, those high aspect ratios. this case, it crucial evaluate response store separation, requires suitable simulation environment that able support nonlinear multidisciplinary analysis. To address need, work presents use multibody dynamics separation. demonstrate, compliant was selected rigid body mounted on represent an store. The time marching before after separation presented show features benefits method.

Robust Aeroelastic Control of Very Flexible Wings using Intrinsic Models
This paper explores the robust control of large flexible wings when their dynamics are written in terms of intrinsic variables, that is, velocities and stress resultants. Assuming 2-D strip theory for the aerodynamics, the resulting nonlinear aeroelastic equations of motion are written in modal coordinates. It is seen that a system which experiences large displacements can nonetheless be accura...
متن کاملNonlinear Aeroelastic Analysis of Aircraft with High-aspect-ratio Wings
The paper describes a formulation for aeroelastic analysis of aircraft with high-aspect-ratio wings. The analysis is a combination of a geometrically-exact mixed formulation for dynamics of moving beams and finite-state unsteady aerodynamics with the ability to model dynamic stall. The analysis also takes into account gravitational forces, propulsive forces and rigidbody dynamics. The code has ...
متن کاملTumbling dynamics of flexible wings
The influence of flexibility on the flight of autorotating winged seedpods is examined through an experimental investigation of tumbling rectangular paper strips freely falling in air. Our results suggest the existence of a critical length above which the wing bends. We develop a theoretical model that demonstrates that this buckling is prompted by inertial forces associated with the tumbling m...
متن کاملNonlinear Aeroelastic Modeling and Analysis of Fully Flexible Aircraft
This paper introduces an approach to effectively model the nonlinear aeroelastic behavior of fully flexible aircraft. The study is conducted based on a nonlinear strainedbased finite element framework in which the developed low-order formulation captures the nonlinear (large) deflection behavior of the wings, and the unsteady subsonic aerodynamic forces acting on them. Instead of merely conside...
متن کاملAeroelastic Analysis of Composite Wings
An aeroelastic stability analysis is presented for high-aspect ratio composite wings. The structural model is based on an asymptotically correct crosssectional formulation and a nonlinear geometric exact beam analysis, both derivable from 3-D elasticity. A new 2-D unsteady inflow finite-state theory is considered for the aerodynamic part of the solution. Theodorsen theory is also implemented an...
